Before choosing a machine, we ask what the thing needs to do. Explore a simple example of a custom bracket taking shape.
EXAMPLE ONLY / CUSTOM BRACKET
Start with dimensions, loads, material, quantity and the place the part needs to fit. A sketch or broken sample can help explain the problem.
THREE WAYS TO BEGIN.
What would help you move forward?
01
Design & prototype
Work from a sketch, file, sample or conversation. We can help develop the model, choose a sensible first version and make a prototype you can test.
A POSSIBLE START
A broken mounting bracket becomes a measured model and a test part, ready to check for fit.
Explore the possibilities +
Design from a sketch or idea — Work out dimensions, materials and what the object needs to do.
3D modeling — Prepare a digital model for a physical object.
Prototypes and test models — Make an early version to try and refine.
02
Make, build & tinker
Custom parts, useful objects, robotics projects and supplies for your own ideas. The process might use 3D printing, cutting, machining or a specialist production partner.
A POSSIBLE START
A custom enclosure for a small electronics project, with the openings, mounting points and finish it needs.
Explore the possibilities +
Custom and replacement parts — Assess a broken part or a specific need and possible production methods.
Brackets, fixtures and enclosures — Make practical parts for holding, protecting or supporting things.
Panels, signs and displays — Produce useful objects and display pieces.
Filament 3D printing — Build suitable objects layer by layer from filament.
Resin 3D printing — Produce suitable detailed parts, with washing and curing.
Fiber laser cutting — Cut suitable metal parts, brackets, panels and signs.
CO₂ laser cutting — Cut appropriate materials such as wood and acrylic.
Waterjet cutting — Cut suitable materials using an abrasive waterjet.
CNC routing — Shape wood, plastics and composite panels.
CNC milling — Machine three-dimensional parts from solid stock.
Sheet-metal bending — Form sheet parts with a press brake.
Parts finishing and assembly — Deburr, tap, countersink, insert hardware and assemble.
Robotics and electronics projects — Bring tools and appropriate specialist expertise to practical projects.
Maker supplies — Sell robotics components, modeling parts and useful supplies.
03
Print & signs
Flyers, menus, business cards, posters, banners and signs—designed and produced around their job, with finishing and larger-format work arranged as needed.
A POSSIBLE START
One event, with the right mix of small handouts, a clear entrance sign and posters people can actually read.
Explore the possibilities +
Everyday business printing — Flyers, brochures, business cards, menus and booklets.
Large-format printing — Posters, banners, signs and displays.
Vinyl lettering and decals — Produce adhesive graphics for suitable applications.
Print finishing — Trim, fold, crease, bind, laminate and mount.
Our production capability is being developed in stages. Compact printing and selected 3D work can come before a full fabrication shop. Larger or specialist orders may be produced through an outside specialist.
We confirm the method, materials, tolerances, quantity, price and timing before accepting a job. Not every listed process is available in-house today.
No. A drawing, photo, sample or explanation may be enough to begin a design conversation. We will identify what still needs to be measured or designed.
Can you repair anything?+
Bring us the problem and we can assess it. A replacement part or a new approach may help, but Tink Town is not offering a blanket appliance or electronics repair service.
Do you own all the machines listed?+
No. The wider equipment range is a direction for growth. Each project needs a confirmed production route and the relevant expertise before we commit.
